WHY ORGANIC?

Every day, humans use products that are treated with harmful chemicals. These products vary from a wide range of goods--from foods, to cosmetics, to utility products, and even FABRIC. In fact, we rarely consider the content of fabrics and textiles, while we use them regularly in the form of pillows, blankets, clothing, diapers, bibs, and other goods that may end up touching our [and our children's] bodies or mouths. This is why using organic, eco-friendly, and sustainable fabrics is exceedingly important.

Organic fabric is made without synthetic and harmful chemicals, which makes it perfect for all of your crafting needs--from clothing, to quilting, and even to baby products. This eco-friendly fabric is good for the earth and even better for the consumer.

Here are our most common print substrates: VOILE/BATISTE Voile is a lightweight cotton fabric. If you hold it up to the light, you will find that it is semi-sheer. Voile is a great option for women's blouses, light summer dresses, and rompers--just to name a few things! POPLIN Poplin is our most standard quilter's weight fabric. It is used for quilts, skirts, button-up shirts, pillow cases, sturdier tops, cloth diapers, rompers, and more. Most projects use poplin; it's a great fabric to start with. BROADCLOTH This substrate a little heavier and thicker than poplin, but still appropriate for quilting and apparel. It is great for projects that will be washed a lot. INTERLOCK KNIT Knits are stretchy.
