This vintage knit pattern is taken from my personal archives of the Workbasket and Home Arts Magazine, December 1969 Number 3 vol 35. The pattern is written for vintage sizes 10-12 and 14-16, which roughly translates to 4-6 and 8-10 today, though you;ll need to measure and adjust for larger sizes if you like. The pattern calls for up to 14 ounces of worsted weight yarn, number 6 and 7 and 8 knitting needles, five buttons, and a belt buckle. It also calls for 1.5 yards of ribbon, 1-1/2 inches wide.
