Email is a valuable communication tool, essential in running a business. What I have learned since I started assisting business owners is that the average inbox in cluttered with junk and the items that are important with intent to be read get lost and misplaced, never to be seen by the inbox owner again. People waste valuable time sorting through a wasteland of newsletters, groupon emails and notices from ebay that their terms have changed.
Your inbox can and should be utilized as a "to-do" list, keeping you on track for your days needs and events. As items are completed, emails can be neatly filed away in the cute little folders on the left.
