Frames Small A3 This group of 6 frames/medallions, plus a long, matching patterned strip (5.75” X 1/2”) has so many uses for the clay artist/jeweler that we would be here all day just listing them. Okay, here’s a few: pendants, boxes, beads, box edges, rings, clasps, bracelet or necklace links…. In the photos above, you can see a toggle clasp that I made using bronze clay and the square box design (lower right). And, if you cut your textured clay apart or “edit” it into smaller elements: earrings, clasps, sides of boxes, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera !!!!!! I can hardly stand it!
I know you will find this really, really inspirational! In one photo I have placed a ruler so you can get an idea of the size. In another photo, I rolled some polymer clay into one of the designs. The depth of the texture is about .5mm – just perfect for a texture but not so deep as to use a lot of your material needlessly.
The overall size of this rubber sheet is approximately 6.75” X 5”. Each design is surrounded by plain rubber so that your clay can be rolled into the recesses and the design will be isolated so it is easy to cut around.
(NOTE: The “Frames Large A1” texture plate has the same designs but the designs are 75% larger than this A3 plate. It’s like the Mama (A1) and the Baby (A3) !!! You decide what scale you like to work in---or get them both, so you have options.)
