This little onesie was the first thing we put on our daughter after she was born, I wanted to create a piece of clothing that would keep her damp newborn body warm and comfortable in a nice and soft material. A onesie that wraps around the baby is practical and simple, the perfect piece of clothing for a newborn. Wool and silk keeps the baby comfortably warm, helps draw moisture away from the body and helps regulate the body-temperature. What could possibly be better for your baby than getting wrapped up in a lovely hand knit onesie for the first few hours and days of life. Use a lovely silk/alpaca blend for the summer baby and a warmer merino or alpaca for the winter baby. Along with a pair of warm socks and a hat, this is all the baby needs those first few days.

Cute but the pattern is confusing and all over the place. Not really worth the trouble of sitting down to write it out myself.

Beautiful onesie but the instructions are too simplistic at this price. I have had to write the entire pattern row by row in order to knit it without forgetting anything, this should have been done by the author given the pattern has so many intricate details. Just a bit of a shame to have to spend so much time rewriting a purchased pattern when all you want is to start knitting!
