Here are two pieces of amazing fabric from the 1950s. Fabulous graphics, paired with an exceptional texture and weight, make this fabric a must have for any retro sewing project. The charming country life farm scenes from a bygone era are sure to please. Whether it be the hay wagon, the hoedown, or the chickens, this glorious fabric will bring a smile to anyone who takes the time to peruse it. From Roomaker, this farmhouse fabric was once a pair of drapes. Each piece has a vertical seam down the middle. One piece has an additional horizontal seam at the bottom third of one of the panels. The drapes, apparently, had been hanging for some time, as there are some condition issues that need to be addressed. There is a general overall yellowing of the fabric, as well as water stains, here and there. Additional stains, that appear grey in color are clustered mainly near the top of both pieces. See photo 4 for examples. No holes or tears. A lot of these issues can be easily forgiven and overlooked, as they add to the vintage charm of the fabric. There is plenty of fabric for a variety of home decor projects. Loads of fussy cuts for a quilt. Enough for a large pillow, or two. A small pair of curtains, or a valence for your country kitchen, glamper or cabin, perhaps?! Freshly laundered. Neatly pressed. Ready for your imagination.
Each piece is: 66" wide x 76" long
