Perfect for terrariums and Kokedama~

Fern moss (Thuidium delecatulum) is light and delicate- it's fronds resemble teeny tiny Boston ferns.
Fern moss, is a very versatile and adaptable species. It thrives and spreads quickly with ample moisture but capable of withstanding drought once established.

Partridge Berry Vine (also known as Squaw Vine) is a trailing, evergreen with white, tubular flowers. Partridge Berry is a perennial woodland creeper with highly ornamental foliage. All parts are dainty, including its pairs of small, rounded, evergreen leaves; tiny, trumpet-shaped, pinkish-white flowers; and crimson berries.

Despite its ubiquity in the woods, Partridgeberry Vine is uncommon in the horticultural trade. This is a shame, since it has many characteristics to recommend it to a gardener. It is that rare beast—a native, shade-tolerant, broad-leaved evergreen groundcover. Seasonal eye candy includes white flowers in spring and red berries that persist through winter. I can't help but think that once the secret gets out, partridgeberry won't be absent from the home landscape for long. USDA Hardiness Zone 3-9

Because our plants are collected in a manner that sustains and supports their growth, we try to keep their foundation as intact as possible. This means there may be a bit of soil, tree bark and other natural materials attached to your moss.

We have been bringing moss into our home for many years and have NEVER had a problem with insects. We would not, knowingly, pass along moss that was infested. But mother nature is unpredictable.
One easy way to "sanitize" your moss is to place it in a lidded container with a cotton ball that has been sprayed with an insecticide. We recommend Pyrethrin- (Pyrethrums) are natural-botanical insecticides.
