This is a digital file
This is a template for building a wearable replica of Venom Snake's bionic arm. It is a digital download that must be printed on paper and transferred to the construction material of your choice. It is NOT a 3D-printable file.
The template is based on the original paper template I first used to build my arm kit, with some added details. The arm piece is scaled to be 11.5" long, for a skinny 6'2" person - you will definitely want to experiment with the scaling if this is too large on you.
The hand pieces are designed to be glued to a flexible glove (I used superglue and nylon gloves with nitrile coating on the palms). The finger pieces are designed to be partially incomplete - i.e., they only consist of the top and one side - so that they do not interfere with dexterity. See reference photos and the imgur link below for more info on assembling the fingers.
The download includes:
1) A 24" x 17" .pdf for use with 24" wide paper - A complete image of the arm and hand parts with no reassembly required. This can be printed at a print shop and is the recommended method of printing.
2) A 4-page .pdf for use with standard 8.5 x 11" paper - A segmented image of the arm and hand parts requiring you to cut each page on the provided margin line (the image extends past the margin line to help you line the pages up), then reassemble into a complete image. Printable on standard home printers.
3) Original .svg (scalable vector graphic) file created in Inkscape. This is the same as the 24" version but in an editable format.
4) A .pdf containing the alternate arm icons (Stun, Rocket, Blast, Jehuty).
These are the instructions for assembling my (discontinued) raw kit, which may be helpful in building your own from scratch: http://imgur.com/a/Wk6b5
