This "Jenni" is drop dead gorgeous. Starts out as a Red-Purple moving into Iris then out into darker Blues. Check out the Vestland Shawl done on Plum Panda in the pictures. Last photo is 760 yard cake of Watch Hill Sparkle. - Cheryl
This blank was dyed with the a subtle transition from one shade to the next kept in mind. This color change occurs once across the entire skein and will have a soft heathered appearance when knit.
** Quite a few people ask me about the kink in the yarn. The texture is the result of the yarn being knit into a blank cloth prior to my dyeing it. Sorry, this cool texture will disappear once your project has been blocked, leaving only your beautiful handcrafted work behind. **
On our Saunderstown: 3ply fingering weight yarn is 80% Super-wash Merino / 10% Cashmere / 10% Nylon for soft and washable projects. Soft enough for next to your skin.

All my yarn is dyed and stored in smoke free environment. I do have a dog and if this is a problem I will rewash the yarn with a “soak” product prior to sending it out to you. Please make a note to seller when purchasing.
Another note: although I take great care photographing my yarns, colors may differ slightly from monitor to monitor.

Frequently asked questions:
Custom orders are most welcome. I love to help make your project unique. If you don't see what you are looking for in my shop, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Custom items cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If you have bought hand dyed yarn or knitted items I would suggest hand washing your finished items with a gentle, suitable wool wash.
Hand dyed yarns may, on occasion, 'bleed' into your washing water - this is due to a little excess dye being left over from the dyeing process and should rinse out. If you wish to use a little white vinegar in your rinsing water this can help.
Wholesale orders are welcome. Please contact me to discuss details. My hand dyed yarns can currently be found at Driftwood Yarns in Mystic, CT., Mermaids Purl, Wakefield, RI and traveling the country with the Bead Biz ladies.
