FAQs

You'll find information about sizing in the .pdf sizing manifesto delivered with all patterns.

NO! The patterns in the Galaxy Whisper collection are suitable for almost all levels of sewers with clear instructions. You'll have fun sewing and build your skill level one garment at a time!

I'm sorry but no. Because of the immediate delivery of a pattern and instructions I can't issue a refund or exchange.

Great question, you will print the pages of the PDF at the draft or standard settings and cut around the boxes on each page to assemble your pattern. It's really not hard if you've never done it and you'll discover that you don't have to run to the store for a pattern-- you can purchase whenever you like, any time of day or night-- and be sewing in no time! ***Please note: Etsy no longer allows PDFs to be downloaded to tablets or phones, so you must download your pattern to a computer then transfer it if you wish. More details on where to find your patterns are at https://www.etsy.com/ca/help/article/3949

Absolutely not! I think that sometimes all of those lines crossing over each other can be confusing (not to mention ink wasting!!). When you open the .pdf on your computer, you'll see a line of icons on the far left side, they look like a folded paper, a ribbon, a paper clip and a stack of papers. When you click on the stack of paper you'll be able to select only the size you need and everything else will disappear. Do make sure to leave on the layer that says "Leave Clicked on for All Sizes" though!

Sizing is hard. It is also subjective………… it seems that every line of clothing whether me-made or off the rack is different. Factor in the fact that women generally don’t like to think of our bodies as a number in a size range, always wishing it were smaller, bigger, taller, shorter. The Galaxy Whisper Collection is primarily knitwear which allows a little breath of relief. Testers have found the sizing to fall in the following range: • XS: 4-6 • S: 6-8 • M: 10-12 • L: 14-16 • XL: 16-18 • XXL: 18-20 Choose your pattern size based on where you believe you fall in the range when selecting knitwear. Using a garment from your wardrobe that is similar, determine if it looks like it’s going to be a good fit.
