Item details

What's it all about?
This cross stitch pattern is inspired by the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon and features the signature Ghostbusters phrase "Who You Gonna Call?"

How big is it?
The stitched area will be approx 4-1/2 inches (11.6cm) wide by 2-1/4 inches (5.4cm) high and fits perfectly inside a frame suited for 4x6 inch photos (as shown in the listing).

What do you get?
A beautifully designed and tested pattern (so you know all the colours look great in real life, not just on a design program). Since the pattern contains a lot of backstitches, I have developed 3 PDF files (examples of which are in the product photo gallery):
File 1 is only whole stitches with their colour legend,
File 2 is backstitches with colour legend and the whole stitches in plain colour, and
File 3 is both whole stitches and backstitches together, along with both legends.

What will you need?
The pattern uses 16 embroidery thread (also called floss) colours, and is best stitched on 14 count white or cream Aida fabric. Dimensions and exact colours are provided in your PDF downloads.

Difficulty level: Intermediate. However, a beginner can learn by starting with the whole stitches of the motto, then moving the whole stitches of the characters, and finally onto backstitching and french knots when they feel confident enough. If this is your first project, check out my FAQs for links to some super-helpful how-to videos!

I claim no rights to the original characters which inspired this piece.

Please note, this is for a PDF download of the pattern, and not a physical product. The pattern file(s) will be available after cleared payment for immediate download, along with a DMC and Anchor embroidery floss colour legend. Due to variations in screen resolution and printers, colours may vary from those displayed, however the floss colour itself is beautiful together. Unfortunately I am not able to offer refunds on digital download purchases.

To open the file, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (or Preview for Mac), which you can download for free here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

For those new to cross stitch, I recommend this video tutorial from Yarn Tree to learn the full cross (the most basic, X looking one) and backstitch (the lines): http://youtu.be/mr_LfGr1v0E My favourite french knot tutorial (the one I learned on!) is from fellow cross stitch pattern-maker, Wee Little Stitches: http://youtu.be/M6HHmMPV3vE When starting a stitch using an even number of threads, I prefer the easy and time saving loop method. This pattern was so easy to follow, especially with the different PDFs included that showed separate stitches. Even though I'd taken a long break from needlepoint, it turned out super cute!

The pattern arrived immediately after purchase and is easy to follow even though I'm a novice stitcher! I'm so charmed by this pattern. And the seller had amazing customer service. I'll be buying more in the future!
