Designed for jewelry or adding to a collage or scrapbook page. They can be used to dress-up tags, greeting cards, magnets, bookmarks, and other crafts. They can also be printed on sticker paper, and used to seal envelopes and packages! (With the matching gift cards, they make a very handsome presentation.)

These turned out so well that I've made them in different sizes and placed my favorites on gift boxes, gift cards, and bookmarks:

*****

The famous "painted ladies" of San Francisco probably have austere, formal tin ceilings inside... not. If I were so fortunate as to own one of them, the interiors would be decorated to match. How could you not be happy to look up and see something as scintillating and full of dancing gaiety as these?

Old World nobility decorated the interior walls and ceilings of their mansions with carved (and sometimes gilded) plaster. Elegant and restrained. However, in America, the middle class discovered that the new milling machines could churn out deeply embossed panels fabricated from tin, copper, and sometimes steel, that when painted and applied to ceilings gave the same rich appearance. Texture was an important element in Victorian design, and these millworks were deeply textured. These ceilings were so beautiful that the style continues to come back into favor.

These all started with Victorian tin patterns (grey and grey with highlights of lighter grey). I have taken "liberties" with these fine old patterns. Richly, perhaps flamboyantly colored, they become ornaments, bright jewels for wearing or embellishing.

Colorizing them has been a guilty pleasure, and I hope they please you as well.

Entirely digitally created. No tiny tinkers competed for best-dressed tile, although some left the factory with smug looks.

FAQs

These are digital products, which means no payment of shipping fees and no waiting for the mail. Immediate gratification. ;) Since I'm not sending actual printed paper, there is no worry about bent envelopes or warping caused by humidity. Upon payment, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to your own DOWNLOADS page. This is almost instant. You can also go directly to your Completed Orders page and see your downloadable files there. There should be 2 files for each sheet, .jpg and .png with transparency. I have saved these images with maximum quality. You can download your files at your own convenience. In case of computer hiccups, I do recommend that you save a copy somewhere.

Etsy does not allow for refunds or exchanges on digital files, which makes sense since you can't really return an electronic item. If by chance you order the same item twice, let me know and we'll work something out. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please ask any questions before purchase. I try to show exactly what you will receive (minus the watermarks), by showing a view of the sheet itself and close-up samples showing a selection of icons and suggested use. I describe the items, the number, size, and distribution of designs as clearly as possible. Please review your order and ask any questions, especially if something seems unclear, before purchase. I want you to buy with confidence and be happy with your decision.

You are licensing the use of these images in YOUR OWN artistic creations. Apply them to jewelry, buttons, magnets, cards or collages, decorate a box or ornament or frame, scrapbooks, calendars, whatever. You have the right to keep, give, or sell your finished products (whether at art & craft fairs or online). You may reprint and reuse these designs as many times as you want, but distribution must be as an END PRODUCT. You may not publish or distribute the images "as is" (digital or printed sheets), as a supply, in kit form, as part of a template, or publish them for the use of others on any print-on-demand site (Zazzle, Cafepress, etc.). You may not distribute the images on a website, network, CD, etc., for free or for pay.

Copyright is not transferred with the purchase of these designs. I retain their copyrights. You are purchasing the right to use the image, not to own the image. Images are non-exclusive, which means that others may also purchase and use the same image for competitive or other purposes. If you wish custom sheets with exclusive rights (for example: an organization, club, or school), let's discuss it. I'm happy to make something special just for you.

I add a couple of pixels to the size, for example 305 pixels instead of exactly 300, so that users have some wiggle room if their printer is not accurate or their hands less than steady while cutting. When printed at 300dpi, this is about 1/32" all around. You should have no white showing around your image. If you are using a circle cutter, simply center the image and you are good to go.

The design in the middle of the "16" page is full size for "inchies" and unwatermarked. That is what you will receive. [Please note that I save at highest quality. Etsy does recompress the files in the listing.] If you wish to download and cut out that centered sample image, and "take it for a test drive" (see what it looks like under glass in a pendant), you are welcome.
