Elegant Box Pincushion, Scarlet and Gold Pincushion,Square Pincushion,Elegant Pincushion,Pincushion Pillow,Pincushion with Glass Beads

I recently attended a wonderful quilt show. One of the many highlights was sorting through a mountain of fabric, leftover remnants from many of the displayed quilts, being sold at bargain prices! I spotted this piece of lovely scarlet and gold fabric and it was, excuse the cliche, love at first sight! My mind was racing with plans and ideas even before I could pull it out of the pile. Its destiny...a chic box shaped pincushion, a lovely pillow stuffed firmly and embellished with a lovely red and gold glass bead (1/2 inch). There is a round, clear gold glass bead on the bottom as well. Please view all photos to see both beads. The gold fabric has a lovely metallic sheen though it cannot be seen easily in the photos. Items in photos are there to show size and scale and not for sale. Measuring 4.25 inches square and 2 inches deep, this lovely pincushion would be a special gift for anyone who uses a needle and thread.
