Shark and Whale are the very best of friends. They love swimming and splashing in the sea. A great beginners pattern with lots of hints and tips and diagrams to guide you through making your own soft toys.
This is a large format (A3) print out. * Notes* This is a large pattern. You may need to get it printed at a print shop. The pattern pieces are on A3 paper (11.6 x 16.5 inches). Each pattern contains a print box to be sure you get accurate printing.
The last photo shows some of the sharks made in a kids sewing class. Whale and Shark are each approx 13 inches long.
To make one whale and one shark you will need:
10 x 16 inch ( 26 x 41cm ) 100% cotton for whale underbelly
13 x 16 inch ( 33 x 41cm ) cotton for whale upper body
12 x 19 inch (31 x 48 cm) cotton for upper shark
6 x 12 inch (15 x 31cm ) cotton for lower shark
One pair of tiny black buttons per toy
Black embroidery thread
