The tatting tutorial will let you make a suchlike pendant and reveal some author's techniques of joining the lock and tatting the cord. The motif can also be used for making a bracelet.
Tatting level: Intermediate. There is also a file about tatting with beads attached. The pattern is for shuttle tatting.
Materials and instruments needed: 2 shuttles, embroidery thread 210D/3, a crochet hook, a lock for the cord, a brooch pin, TOHO beads size 15/0 (332 beads for the pendant and some for the cord). Techniques used: ring, picot, join, chain, Josephine chain, lock join, bead picot, ring on chain.
