A two ply yarn, made from 1 end of linen and one end of stranded viscose.
The linen is a natural shade and the gold sheen comes from the viscose wrap.
First photo is in natural light, second is taken indoors with a flash.
This is not a sparkly or glittery yarn. It isn't overtly shiny, but has a subtle sheen which catches the light, enhancing and attracting attention to the whole project rather than just shouting 'look at me!' It can therefore be worked into intricate patterns without fear of detracting from the design.
It is a typically 'crisp' linen, but will soften somewhat on washing.
1kg cone (also available in 50g hanks/skeins)
The weight is probably equivalent to approximately a 2/20nm
Approx345m/377yds per 50g
