This yardage has unfinished edges, like what you would buy from a bolt of cloth in the fabric store. It must be hem stitched or hemmed before use to prevent unravelling. It has been washed and is ready to use once hemmed.
The Cloth of Kin Team sells handwoven, unfinished heirloom fabric by the yard as well as a variety of finished scarves, ponchos and hand dyed wools. Our vision is to create meaningful and lasting artifacts which symbolize a step to unite, cherish and remember our lives interwoven for the present and future generations.
Inspiration for this wrap: The coolness and clarity of turquoise water meeting white sand while energizing with the rising/setting sun. My go to happy place, that I meditate to is the beach...the sound of waves lapping on the shore with the heat of the sun rising or coolness of the sun setting. These colours are from images of my favourite memories of both celebrating love and family. My husband and I celebrated our engagement, honeymoon, vacations with friends, my brother 's wedding, and family vacations at these white sand, and turquoise water destinations surrounded by the quiet apart from nature sounds and relaxing with beautiful Sunrises and sunsets...a time to take pause and reset the mind!
