Tatting level: Pre-Intermediate. The pattern is suitable for shuttle or needle tatting.

Materials and instruments needed: 2 shuttles (or a tatting needle), thread, crochet hook, seed beads, magnetic lock, NO fabric stiffener.

Techniques used: ring, split ring, picot, bead picot, join, lock join, Josephine chain.

The file includes tatting diagrams, commentaries, step by step instructions, photographs of the process. There are no basic tatting instructions.

I love how it looks in the picture! I’m in the middle of making it right now. Great pictures and diagrams. The directions are very clear, EXCEPT that after you wind the thread onto the shuttles as instructed, it doesn’t tell you how many of the beads go on each shuttle, but I did figure it out. The “beads” in the photo look very nice and round, mine don’t look as nice. The instructions said to keep the rings tight, but I’m wondering if they’re too tight making the shape off. If I can update my review when I’m finished, I will.
