These are a charming and rustic looking vintage glass cabochon, originating from Czechoslovakia in the 1950's. The package labels them "antiqued gold" and they have interesting imperfections in the matte glass finish that make them look like the real deal. I've often glued them to collages or pressed them into epoxy or crystal clay for a very cool industrial steampunk border simulating small upholstery nails (hobnails) or rivets. The photos show them looking rough (part of their beauty) but they are not meant to be seen in such a magnified view. Completely flat on the back, they are truly one of my best finds ever.
