Ice dyed cotton is rust brown, golden brown and charcoal grey with undertones of red and blues as the dye components separate with the melting ice.
Ice dyed fabric is a technique that provides totally unpredictable and amazing results as the melting ice takes the color through the fabric. Each piece is unique and provides a variety of design with in the piece of fabric. I use several shibori techniques in ice dying to get some amazing results.
All fabric is pre-washed and dyed with care and attention to detail. Each piece is individual in characteristics, and no 2 pieces are exactly alike.
All fabric is dyed and stored in a smoke free, pet free home.
Care: All fabrics are dyed using professional grade dyes, and are washed thoroughly after dyeing, although some light bleeding may occur. Use caution when washing. Cold water wash is recommended.
