Item details

Medieval G Monogram Hand Embroidery Pattern - This is a nice letter embroidery pattern for doing monograms by hand. I have all 26 letters of the alphabet available, so you could use it for illuminated manuscripts, as a font, or use them for initials. Each letter can be done in the simple outline, the outline and flourish outline, and the fancier outline with outlined satin stitch flourishes. You can also do this one in different colors. It's great for medieval and art nouveau decor.

A colorized line pattern and black and white pattern are included in this one.

Measures approximately 3.75 x 3".
All letters in this style are about 3" tall.

This particular pattern can be done as line embroidery or you can fill in the flourishes as shown in the second picture. This will increase the time needed to complete the project. Instructions are included for both.

My hand embroidery patterns include instructions for various stitches, how to transfer the design to your fabric, complete start to finish instructions for embroidery projects, thread color recommendations, a full color photograph of a finished example, pattern, a mirror image of the pattern (if applicable), and in most cases a colored line pattern, so you can stitch by color. Keep in mind these are manual embroidery patterns, not machine embroidery patterns. In some cases there are multiple sizes included, but you can shrink and enlarge them yourself on the computer or with a copy machine. I try to include enough instructions so that a beginner can easily do each project.

Currently the majority of the hand embroidery designs are only available in my shop, as digital downloads, I do take requests, I can and will make printed hard copies and kits available if you ask using the request customization button. In the meantime, instant gratification of a digital download is wonderful. Why wait for it to arrive in the mail, when you can have it now? I've got lots of designs in the works! If you have something in mind that I don't have up yet, shoot me a message and I will move it up on my list of embroidery design priorities.

The patterns included in this listing are in PDF format, which any computer can open using Adobe Acrobat (free program). Please let me know if you would prefer them in .doc format (MS WORD or GOOGLE Docs) or in .txt/.jpg formats, and I can email you the files in that format when you complete the purchase. Also, please let me know if there is a problem with any of the files.

File delivery
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.

Payments

I take Etsy payments and gift cards. I also take any type of payment via Paypal.

Returns & exchanges

Embroidery patterns: If there is a serious error on my part I will issue a refund or correct the error in a time sensitive manner. If you have purchased an item by mistake (example: bought a hand embroidery pattern when you intended to purchase a machine embroidery pattern), I will refund your purchase if all of the following conditions apply: You did not download the pattern file, you message me about the issue, and your payment has processed. Be aware that sometimes, Etsy and Paypal payments sometimes take a few days to issue the refund to your account.

Corsets: All corsets are listed with their fully closed measurements and recommended waist sizes. If you lace down more than a few inches, please understand that you could be putting your body at risk. I recommend slowly training your waist each time you get laced in and do your research about the possible side effects of tight lacing. I am not responsible for improper care or you purchasing the wrong size. If a mistake has been made on my part, I will refund the purchase price and shipping when I have received the item back.

Additional policies

I do accept custom orders. I can design a special embroidery pattern for you. Message me the details for the project and I can give you an estimate. Each custom project has it's own special circumstances and therefore I can only tell you how much a custom project will cost on a case by case basis. For custom orders, I expect to receive half of the cost up front before I begin work on the project.

I can also make any digital download into a printed version or even a kit. Just ask and let me know what you would like, and I can make it happen.
