Item details

Due to its hefty weight, this vintage Argus camera was nicknamed "The Brick." Its classic black Bakelite and steel exterior make this camera a great decor piece that would display well in an office or studio. A more sophisticated version of the popular C3 model, this C3 Standard camera features an improved lens and more comfortable features along with the classic coupling gears and appearance. This vintage film camera would fit in with those who have an affinity for steampunk or industrial style.

This model features two holes on the side for a flash and the serial number on the bottom is 1921155817. The model and serial number date the manufacturing of this camera to somewhere between 1958-1966. The shutter does fire, so it's possible that the camera could be used, though I cannot guarantee working order.

Cosmetically, the camera is in near mint condition as it appears to rarely, if ever, been used. The original dark brown cowhide leather case is in excellent condition with visible wear only to the strap and all the snap buttons that keep it in place function.

*FREE gift wrapping is available. Please let me know if you wish for this extra and please provide any necessary details about the occasion.*
