Item details

This listing is for an instant download PDF PATTERN to make your own cathedral window Christmas ornament. When it is finished it will measure 4 1/2 inches square.

They are great to give as Christmas or hostess gifts on a nice bottle of wine, attach to a gift, or use on your own tree, as well as selling at local craft fairs or markets. I wrote this pattern for a sewist or quilter who is familiar with sewing straight seams, top stitching, back stitching, and pressing. You don't need any quilting experience but should be familiar with using your machine. Everything is done on the sewing machine except the last step of sewing the turning opening closed. You can choose to add stuffing or not. Flat ornaments are easier to mail in a card.

It will print on 2 sheets of paper with many color photographs and step-by-step directions. It will take less than an hour to complete 1 ornament, and each one will get faster as you get familiar with the technique. You will need:
small amounts of 4 different fabrics (charm squares or leftover jelly roll strips are great)
6 inch piece of narrow ribbon
stuffing (optional if you want yours fluffy)

My pattern is protected by copyright, but you may sell the ornaments you make.
