Item details

A double sided knitting digital pattern for a beautiful heart baby blanket in worsted weight yarn! The perfect size for covering baby when in the car seat, or a good sized blanket to cover baby in the crib. The double knit makes it super squishy - AND it's reversible!

(If you are interested in BOTH the worsted (4) weight and light worsted (3) weight version of this pattern, they are available as a double download in my shop at a discount! Check it out!)

- Blanket size (approximately) 25x35” depending on tension/gauge.
- This pattern requires double knitting. You turn the piece after every row to knit back and forth.
- This pattern uses worsted weight (4) yarn. (I used Bernat Premium or Red Heart With Love Yarn)
- To make one blanket is about 1.5 skeins of 370yds/200g yarn, so you will need two skeins of each color.
- I used 5mm (size 8) circular knitting needles, but I knit quite loosely. You might need 5.5mm (size 9) if you are a tight knitter. I used a circular knitting needle as I find that holds the yarn/blanket better, but you could definitely use several straight knitting needles if you wanted.
