Processing time Please allow a maximum of 2 weeks for your item to be made before it is shipped to you. USPS first class is used for shipments within the US. We typically don't need the full weeks until the shop gets really busy.
International Orders will be shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS ) First Class International Shipping. Transit time can range between 1-4 weeks. Insurance is included in shipping costs.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Earrings: To ensure proper hygiene and sanitation for all customers, I do not accept refunds on earrings.
Rings: SALE ON RINGS ARE FINAL AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. WE DO NOT OFFER RING RESIZING. Apologies for the inconvenience, ring resizing is too labor costly. Our ring sizes are very true to size. Please get fit before placing an order.
Engraved jewelry are subject to a 40% restocking fee. All others are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Return shipping: Customer's responsibility unless an error on our part.
Receipts: We do not include any printed receipts in your order unless you request one.
International Customs Duties/Taxes -The Hometown Haven is not responsible for Duty or Custom charges you may incur for receiving your order. Your local post office may randomly select your package for duty tax. We can NOT mark your package as a "gift" to avoid taxes. Packages returned to us due to unpaid customs/duty fees will NOT be refunded.
Rush Processing - International
-Rush processing is NOT recommended. Rush processing is $10-20 to ship your order asap. This does NOT include any upgrade to postal services.
-Postal upgrade is $28-$38 depending on time frame but your local customs office may still hold your package for inspection causing a delay in receipt.
Tarnishing: Jewelry is suseptible to tarnishing and general care is necessary to prevent and delay the rate of tarnishing. We do NOT provide refunds/replacements in the event of tarnish. We do sell highly effective polishing cloths that remove tarnish in the event you need to clean your jewerly.
