Quilt pattern for Janet Clare’s ‘The Wright Flyer’ mini-quilt featuring quick machine piecing and detailed machine quilting to create a beautiful textured result. This mini-quilt would look fantastic framed and hung on the wall, or could easily be converted into a stylish cushion.

The detailed pattern guides you through sorting your fabric, laying out and piecing your wall hanging, and includes detailed notes on constructing the quilt top, preparing the quilt backing, wadding, layering up and binding. With a detailed picture showing the exact arrangement of my fabrics and lots of supporting photographs, you can confidently re-create my design

My quilt is made using a two mini-charm packs and yardage from my 'Flight' fabric collection for Moda. A complete kit is now available:

The fabric requirements to piece the front, back and bind this mini-quilt are as follows, with the fabrics I used from my Flight collection shown in brackets.

- Two 2 ½ inch mini charm packs to piece front (Flight Mini-Charm Packs, 1410MC)
- 1/3 yd dark blue for binding (A Nice Stripe > Indigo - Sky, 1411-21)
- ¾ yd fabric for backing (Rivets > Cream, 1415-11)

The finished mini-quilt measures ~19 x 19 inches.
