For best results hand wash in cold water, dry flat in shade. Although all yarn is completely washed and rinsed before labeling, exposing the yarn to warm or hot water may cause the yarn to bleed color. Wash your finished garment before wearing.
Great care has been taken to represent colours accurately, but colours do vary monitor to monitor depending upon monitor settings.

Shipping & policies
I ship by Canada Postal Service, mostly by air in an attempt to keep shipping costs from becoming outrageous. When shipping regular airmail, the package does not have a tracking number (except deliveries in Canada).
The buyer is responsible for any customs charges. You should be aware of the customs policies for your country prior to ordering. I use Etsy shipping labels for all my orders and the pertinent information needed for shipping is included on them. If your country requires extra information for customs, please inform me prior to shipping in the notes section of your order.
It is recommended that you buy tracking for your shipment to prevent any loss of packages through mail, this is not included in my shipping rates, but I'd be happy to include it (as well as insurance) at cost if you request it prior to buying an item. I cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged packages once they are in the care of the postal service.
Items are sent within 3-5 days of payment, unless it's a very large order, wherein I'll send you a message giving you a timeframe for ship date. I'll send you a notification when the item has been shipped.
I accept payment by Paypal, direct payment, Etsy gift cards or credit card. Payment is expected at the time of your order and will not be shipped until your payment has cleared.
Items will be shipped to the address given by Etsy unless otherwise requested by the customer in either the order notes or in conversation.
Custom orders are pre-paid and non-refundable.
Coupons are limited to one per purchase on items currently in stock. If you neglect to put in your code at checkout (in the box indicated and not in "notes") before submitting your order, I won't be able to honour it. Sorry, no rainchecks on special offers, sales are limited to quantities in stock.
Returns & exchanges
If you are in any way unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact me within 5 days after you have received the item. If you choose to return the item(s), they must be posted within a week of receiving your package and returned unused, and in their original condition. The purchaser is responsible for return shipping costs.
You will receive a refund via the same method as your original purchase minus the cost of shipping upon receipt of the returned item.
Custom orders are non-refundable so please give me as much detail as possible about what you would like before purchasing. I always try to send pictures and communicate as much as possible as I progress through special orders!
Some of the yarns available for my Dyed To Order items contain fibers that may not take the dye as readily as others available. This will create a softer, more pale version of the colourway. I will do my best to dye it as shown in the sample photos, unfortunately, there are limitations to some of the fibers.
I love custom orders! If there is a colour combination you've been dreaming of, convo me and we can work out a special order, just for you!
Photos are of the actual items, I do not reuse photos unless otherwise stated on the item description.
I take great care in washing each skein to ensure colour-fastedness and to rinse out as much excess dye as possible. Brighter colours (deep reds and blues) may still come off on your hands or bleed, but it would be minimal. It is recommended to hand wash in cold water separately, and air dry flat to preserve the colour intensity and longevity of your garment.
Yarn is a natural product, therefore no two can be alike. There may be joins and/or slubs occasionally and this is part of its natural beauty. It is not uncommon to have 1-2 joins in milled yarns, and all of the yarn I dye is hand selected and carefully inspected before shipping to fall within these guidelines. Please take care in opening your package to avoid cutting the yarn.
Hand dyed yarns can vary skein to skein even if from the same dyelot, this is what makes them unique. To reduce the chance of differences between your skeins, please be sure to order enough yarn for your project. To further reduce differences, I recommend alternating skeins every two rows in larger projects.
Great care has been taken to represent colours accurately, but colours do vary monitor to monitor depending upon settings. Some yarns, because of the fibre content, will not take the dye as readily or as intensely as others. The end result is a yarn with the same hue, but a few shades lighter. I always try my best to get my Dyed to Order items to resemble the pictures, sometimes due to the yarn base it's just not possible. Please ask me questions about your yarn before ordering if this concerns you.
All items come from a smoke-free and clean, pet friendly home. All of my yarn is kept away from the pest, I mean the cat. ;)
