This is very nice Shetland Sheep roving that was grown by a ewe, who is loved and cared for by my young, 4H friend, Sara. I'm selling it for her family because they have more roving than they can possibly spin up.
This fleece was cleaned and prepared by Zeilinger's Mill in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
The color is lovely, it's a medium brown, but is sparsely shot with some lighter fiber that creates a lovely yarn.
This fiber is very easy to spin and takes dye beautifully. It does have a titch of VM (vegetable matter) that will fall out easily when spun. I tried to show you some in the pictures.
Most of my items are shipped in Biodegradable, Recycled, Poly Mailers so that I can ship First class. If the package is over 16 ounces, I will ship Priority. I ship within 48 hours. If you check my Reviews, you will see that I am quite speedy.
Most buyers purchase from my shop using PayPal or Etsy's Direct Check. These are easiest for me. But if you rather send a check or money order, that's fine too. Fiber folks must be conscientious and dependable because I have never had a bad transaction. If you need time to pay or have to cancel a purchase, just let me know. I'm naievely trusting and trustworthy.
Returns & exchanges
If you aren't happy, let me know. I will do an exchange or give your money back, or whatever it takes to have a happy customer. Buying fiber is hard from a picture. Ideally, you need to feel, caress, and, yes, even smell it.
Please let me know if you have allergies to fragrances because I store my fiber with lavender sachets. I can rewash the yarn before I send it out.
