Item details

This delightful blue and green yarn bowl is made from stoneware clay, It is wheel thrown and fired in an electric kiln to cone 6, about 2200F. I am very happy with how this glaze turned out, it is really a beautiful yarn bowl.

This yarn bowl measures 3.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches wide. It has a wide steady flat base which will keep the yarn bowl stable and will not tip over. This handmade bowl holds your yarn ball while you knit or crochet. You can thread the yarn through the curve loop if you want to change your yarn out, or thread it through one of the holes.

This yarn bowl is dishwasher safe. Yarn is not included. Ready to ship.

FAQs

Make-to- orders usually take 6 weeks to make.

Shipping fees are estimates from GA to CA. Since I do not use Etsy's calculated shipping method, the shipping fee shown on Etsy is the maximum it will cost. The actual fee may be lower depending on how far the destination is from GA. I refund the difference if the shipping fee (including packaging material) is overcharged by more than $1.

Additional policies

Please note that Raku and Pit Fired pottery are not food safe or water tight. They are beautiful but strictly decorative.

With the exception of Raku and Pit Fired pieces, all my pottery are food safe. Most of my functional pieces are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. The exceptions are those with handles not made out of clay (eg metal or cane handles). Sudden temperature changes should be avoided; thermal shock can cause pottery to crack or break. Do not put pottery in a preheated oven; always place pottery into a cold oven. Never use pottery on a stove top or open flame, this will cause it to crack!
