Wonderful set of three vintage glass floral frogs in different sizes are a beautiful display, but are so functional and versatile for storage....and can still be used as flower holders. Vintage glass floral frogs were used to hold the stems of flowers in vases and for floral arrangements before the invention of floral foam (Oasis) in the 1950's. Some people say they are called frogs because they sit in the water like frogs.
This trio of glass flower arrangers can be used in to hold flowers, but can also grace your shelf or mantle as stand alone decor. They are lovely organizers on a craft table or desk and will hold brushes, scissors, pens etc.
The larger one has a diameter of 5 1/4", 1/2" tall, and has 16 openings. The smaller one has a diameter of 3 1/2", 1/2" tall and has 11 openings. The smallest one has a diameter of 3" and has 11 openings. This one stands 1" tall.
