Item details

This listing is for a sample of my screen printed fabric. Please feel free to leave a design/color preference in the “notes to seller" portion upon check out. If I am out of stock in that fabric or the field is left blank, swatches will be a random design and color.

Pattern designs are hand screen printed on Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton Solids. (RK Kona may also be sold in fabric or quilting stores in your area if you don't require a screen printed sample.)

SIZE

I recycle my fabric and sewing scraps! Therefore samples may vary in size from 2 to 4 inches.

SHIPPING

To keep the cost of shipping down, samples are sent out in a letter envelope with stamp/s. Due to this system, tracking numbers can not be provided when sending out this item. If you have ordered a sample and it has not reached you, please contact me via etsy convo with your name and order number.

FAQs

Due to my current handmade process, my hand screen printed fabric is sold in 'panels' and not traditional yardage.

Please see a visual representation of this in the listing's images. Full - 16 inch width (tall) by 40 inch length (across)
Half - 16 inch width (tall) by 20 inch length
(across) Quarter - 16 inch width (tall) by 10 inch length (across) My fabric prints are this size based on my current work space and equipment limitations. In the future, I'd love to expand my fabric print sizing for larger creative projects.

It is recommended that you wash fabric before use. It has not been pre-washed. To clean, use a gentle wash with cold water and hang to dry. Cotton fabric may shrink if washed in warm or hot water and/or put in a dryer with heat. For the best ink vibrancy and saturation over time, please follow suggested care instructions. Fabric is safe to iron.

I print on Robert Kaufman Kona Solids, a light to medium-weight quilting cotton. It's 100% cotton. Prints are done with eco-friendly, water-based inks and have been heat-set for ink fastness. (Safe to wash and safe to iron!) Water-based inks remain soft on the fabric and will not peel, chip, or crumble over time.

I refund shipping overages. Etsy's system limits me to one weight for my listings regardless of the size variation. This means, for instance, if you purchase lots of small pieces, Etsy thinks the package weight will be much heavier than it actually is. When I print out your shipping label, I account for this overage and will refund the difference back to you. You'll receive an email notice of this refund should any overages occur.

Yes! You are welcome to use my fabric in both personal and commercial projects. Fabric and artwork can not be passed off as your own. Artwork copyright is retained by Fireside Textiles and my artwork/designs may not be replicated or reproduced in any way. Credit back to my site, while not required, is appreciated.

Custom prints and personalized orders are unavailable at this time. The closest I can offer to requested color combinations at this moment is through my Patreon page, where Patrons can collectively and occasionally vote for the design/color combos. I do make other color prints as special edition versions and one-off color combos. Please join my email newsletter for more information on release notifications.
