Vintage How To Paint on Textiles by Marion Van Zandt, Published by Walter Foster, ca. 1950s along with a 1950s American Crayon Co. Pack of EZ Cut Transparent Stencil Paper. I found both of these in a nice, large Dennison store back so I assume they were purchased together at the store though the bag could have just been convenient storage!
Both book and stencil paper have never been used and though pre-owned are in "Like New" condition.
The 20 sheets of waxy stencil paper are 9” X 12”. They are uncut and ready to be put to work. They are meant to trace over designs so the shapes can be cut out. There is an occasional minor storage speck. They came wrapped in the wonderful atomic age wrapper shown.
The book is 40 pages of interesting and fun period designs a from dancers to flowers to fish, along with instructions on how to paint on textiles (neckties, aprons, etc.), cutting stencils, etc. The soft covered book measures 10-½” X 14”. It is in good, clean, sturdy condition.
The Dennison bag is torn and has some penciled writing on it but has protected its contents well.
