PDF knitting pattern for you to knit "The Hampton Beach" blanket by The Autumn Acorn. This pattern was created in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. I am inspired daily by nature's beauty that surrounds me.
This is my favorite pattern by far! The Autumn Acorn presents, "The Hampton Beach" hand knit, pure merino wool top roving MEGA blanket. This is extreme knitting at its finest!!
This pattern will teach you how to make your very own gigantic knitting needles and how to knit 4 different types of blankets in two different sizes (48" x 62" and 18" x 18"). You will create a blanket that will weigh between 2-10 pounds, depending on the size you choose. The Hampton Beach is one mother of a blanket!
All of the wool top roving I use is unspun and because of this, it is normal for the blanket to shed and pill some. it is best to enjoy this blanket in an area without constant use and traffic.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BLANKET: Spot clean with a mild soap that is safe for wool. You can also soak with a gentle wool soap in the washing machine but do not let the machine agitate because it will felt your blanket. Drain, and GENTLY spin out the excess water. Dry flat.
Blanket pictured in the first 4 photos is the large throw size- 48" x 62" and it is shown on a double/full size bed. The baby blanket pictured in the last photo is 18" x 18" and is intended as a photography prop for newborn babies.
You will NOT receive the finished blanket, you will receive the downloadable instructions to make the blanket yourself. Once your payment is complete, Etsy will send you the link to download your pattern instantly!
Feel free to sell your finished blankets made from this pattern, however please do not copy, alter, or sell the pattern itself. For each of your listings, include the following: pattern provided by Judy Jewell of The Autumn Acorn at http://www.theautumnacorn.etsy.com.
Thanks for stopping by The Autumn Acorn and happy extreme knitting!!
