These Summer Splash Sandals from Little Abbee will be a great addition to your dolls wardrobe! They are fun and quick to make. You will want to make a few pairs!
This pattern is 23 pages long with step by step pictures. It also includes a “summary of instructions” so that you can print the pattern without the pictures, using less ink.
This pattern is designed to fit 18” dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Yarn: Fingering weight yarn. It is best to use a yarn that has a high content of cotton. Knit Picks yarn was used in the example pictures; comfy fingering. This yarn can be purchased online.
-Small amount of Fingering Weight #1 yarn in 2 different colors
-Two 3/8" buttons
-Chipboard for the soles (available pre-cut on Pixie Faire)
-2mm foam sheet for the soles (available pre-cut on Pixie Faire)
-4" by 4" piece of cotton fabric for insoles
-Size D crochet hook
-Sharp needle for sewing and weaving in loose ends
-3 stitch markers
*Please note: You can cut your own chipboard and foam sheet for the soles of the shoes. You do not have to use pre-cut soles. There is a pattern piece included.
