These hanks are made from a beautiful purebred CVM Romeldale sheep from our small fiber flock. Color options include white #1070 "Odette" and medium CVM grey from #1009 "Smokey" ram, both spun in a sport weight. Each hank is approximately 200 yards and weights 4 oz. Thank you for your interest in this rare sheep breed! Read more about our fiber animals and CVM Romeldale sheep at www.Shepherdesswool.com
Shipping on time and lovely yarn. Seems a bit heavier than sportweight (although that is likely the puffiness of the fiber). Good yarn structure--it will be more durable than many Romeldale/CVM yarns.

Beautiful Rommeldale yarn! Bright white and very soft. There was a tech glitch and Leah sent along another hank of a charcoal CVM fiber, as a special treat. What a great and thoughtful vendor. The yarn was professionally processed and spun. I wish I lived closer to her processor, I would definitely use them for some fleece that I have! All and all an exceptional vendor.

Because of many of the issues that can come up with storing wool, I ask that you please take a look at the fleece within 30 days of receiving it to make sure it is what you were expected. Please look at photos closely for color and staple length. If a fleece does not meet your standards please store in a smoke free/pet free environment and I will send a return shipping label or we can discuss other options to make the issue right.
Please visit me at www.shepherdesswool.com where I discuss my sheep management and skirting practices. I am not in the business to try to pull the wool over someones eyes....Fleeces are skirted. Yarn and roving have been skirted, scoured and processed at a small scale but professional wool mill. However, sheep live outdoors so there is always a chance of occasional debris from sheep being sheep in the unprocessed fleeces! I never try to hide that with the photos, so please take a look at those closely.
