A useful vintage jumper which has short sleeves and the look of a T-shirt from 1935.
The original yarn used is Anchor Tricoton which I think is a 4 ply or DK as the needles used are No 11 old UK size.- Tension 4 and half sts to 1 inch in width and 8 rows to 1 and half inches. This should be fairly quick to make up.
The pattern is to fit a 33 inch bust, however width all around underarms is 21 inches unstretched, , sleeve seam 4 inches.
By using DK and increasing the needle size larger measurements can be achieved.
This pattern is from an old needlework magazine from 1935 -
The pattern into a new enlarged format.
