DON'T HAVE A PRINTER?
Transfer this file onto a USB stick and go to your local photocopy center. They usually have a wide range of coloured paper in various densities (ask for 180gsm/65 lb cover in prority if you are a beginner) and they will have your template and instructions printed for next to nothing.
------------------------------------------------------
A CLEAN AND WELL-ORGANIZED PDF TEMPLATE
This makes the assembly intuitive, even (almost) without instructions.
------------------------------------------------------
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS + TIPS & TRICKS
Each step of the illustrated instructions show beginners where to start glueing the next part.

Tips and tricks will help you build a flawless sculpture more quickly and more easily.

Everything will be just fine, no doubt you will do a great job.
------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY LEVEL
Beginner to intermediate (teens above 13 and adults)
"Easier than I thought", they all say.
------------------------------------------------------
ESTIMATED TIME
An average of one day, depending on your glue and on how much of a perfectionist you are.

Listen to music, a podcast or even half-watch TV. Papercraft is a great, productive time-killer.
------------------------------------------------------
This model is meant to be bicolored.
So this 14-page digital template has been divided into two to make it easier for you to print on two colors:
► 10 pages for the body (color 1)
► 4 pages for the mane and eyes (color 2)
------------------------------------------------------
DIMENSIONS
► Height: 55 cm / 21 ¾ in
► Width: 35 cm / 14 in
► Depth: 26.5 cm / 10½ in
------------------------------------------------------
TECHNICALITIES
About 300 faces, 45 parts.
Plain template (no texture, no color).
►►►The pdf files are both A4 and US Letter paper compatible. You don’t need to scale them up or down.
------------------------------------------------------
MAKE IT UNIQUE
► Print on colored paper or patterned paper.
► Or choose white paper and add your personal touch with feathers, dots or rhinestones (why not? It's a Unicorn after all!) or any ornament of your choosing.
► Spray paint is fine too.
------------------------------------------------------

-- Print the pages and offer them in a nice envelop, or

GIFT IDEA FOR A NOT SO CREATIVE FRIEND?
Build this unicorn yourself. Your friend will sense how much love and patience you put into it. You will get compliments, win-win!

This is an excellent exercice in patience, focus and mindfulness to free yourself from daily stress. But you already know that, right?

FAQs

Surprisingly, yes. Those sculptures may look impressive, but they are designed with *motivated* beginners in mind and have been tested by true beginners. The process of assembly has been made intuitive to relax your brain so that you won't have to figure out what step you should take next. The enclosed illustrated instructions make things even easier as they suggest where to start to glue each piece. That said, I wouldn't recomment the shark as debut model because the 3D teeth are tricky.

I would rather say adults and teens above 13, just to be safe.

■ Printer or your local print shop ■ A4 Paper (160-220 gsm) or US Letter (65 lb cover or 110 lb index like this one for example: https://www.amazon.com/Neenah-Astrobrights-Premium-Assortment-Inches/dp/B003A2I6T2) ■ Cutting tool ■ Scoring tool (the dull side of a craft knife, dried out ball pen, etc.) ■ Ruler ■ White glue ■ Pin or nail ■ And obviously, a wall.

■■■ PAPER Coloured or patterned A4 (160-220 g/m²) or US Letter American friends, this kind of cardstock is fine (this is *not* an affiliate link): https://www.amazon.com/Neenah-Astrobrights-Premium-Assortment-Inches/dp/B003A2I6T2 ■■■ GLUE Quick drying white glue! (mundane quick drying wood glue, or Aileen's, or Elmer's, or Mod Podge, an so on). I wouldn't recommend: glue sticks nor transparent liquid glues. Don't worry, all these recommendations are reminded in the instructions along with extra advice on how to glue properly.

Go to your local copy store with a thumb drive. They usually have a wide range of paper colours, and if you are lucky, various weights. They will print your template for you for next to nothing. Ask 180 gsm (65 lb cover) in priority, then 160 gsm (110 lb index) if they don't have 180. (The tutorial is to be printed on regular office paper, or not to be printed at all)

In this shop, you will find PDF patterns you can turn into paper sculptures. Nothing physical will be sent to you. You can download your files directly from your Etsy account a few seconds after your purchase. Here is how you can make your own paper sculpture: - - - Download & print the template (using A4 or US Letter thick paper) - - - Read through the getting started tips - - - Have a glance at the illustrated instructions Then start building: - - - Following the pattern, cut out each individual part - - - Score and fold along the dotted lines - - - Pair up the twin numbers to glue the pieces together After it's finished: - - - Hang on the wall using pins or nails, just like a picture frame - - - Be proud and do the happy dance :)

I do, as long as none of the files have been downloaded.

No, that's ok to download them multiple times. I'm just asking you not to share or publish the files though, and not to use them for profit of any kind. Don't mess with the copyright law.

Yes and no. You are allowed to sell the sculptures to make room for example. The point here is you can not make a business out of my work. Thank you. As for the templates and instructions, they are protected under copyright law. They are provided for the sole purpose of your personal pleasure. They are not to be shared, published, copied, modified, sold or distributed in any way without my consent.
