This slab is about 4mm thick, sliced and polished and drilled by my dad, in Oregon. He's one of those old rockhounds who love searching for beautiful stones and making them into something others can use or wear.
This pendant has gorgeous patterns, formed by nature, formed when a geode slowly filled in layer after layer. Botswana agate forms in amazing shades of grey, white, and even slightly pink, and has this incredible eye-catching way of shifting the light as you look through the translucent layers.
The shape was determined by the actual outline of the geode. Measures about 1 1/4" across and 1.5" top to bottom. Hole is about 2mm so it would be easy to wire-wrap or use a fine cord here. The hole is chamfered so that there isn't a sharp edge.
