The Cashew tree will grow anywhere in tropical dry and wet climates - where the average daily temperate is 77 degrees F. Temps should not drop below 50 degrees F. The Cashew tree starts fruiting nuts in about 2-3 years. The largest producers of cashew nuts are Brazil, India, Vietnam, Africa and Southeast Asia. Nuts are harvested during the dry season (winter).
