The Ezy T pattern is a wonderful basic item you will love! This 'Squirts and Darlings' size is the same great style you've enjoyed for your 18" dolls; now drafted to fit 2 different sizes of smaller dolls.
The Size A - Squirts will fit 14.5" dolls such as the Wellie Wisher and the Hearts for Hearts girls.
The Size B - Darlings will fit 13" dolls such as Dianna Effner's Little Darling and the Corolle 'Les Cheries'.
Each size includes it's own pattern pages, combined in this listing for your value enjoyment!
The popular Ezy T has an extended sleeve cut all-in-one with the garment. This streamlines your sewing, eliminates messy shoulder seams and leaves an open canvas for embellishment, such as machine embroidery. Stitch up a variety of t-shirts and dresses. Choose from 5 garment lengths; crop top, standard T, low-hip, tunic length or above-knee dress. (pants and leggings shown are NOT included.)
Choose from three sleeve lengths, too; the classic short sleeve, as well as 3/4 or long sleeves. For the Size A Squirts , there's a wonderful 'sleeve addition' that lets you add 3/4 or long sleeves to show off a stripe or colorblock effect. Mix and match these garment lengths and sleeve choices. So many possibilities!
All styles close in back with a hook and loop closure, you'll find source recommendations for products suitable for doll clothes, too! You'll receive a pdf pattern that you can print yourself, including photos & instructions to guide you. There are separate pattern pages for the Squirts and the Darlings.
Ezy T garments are designed for knits with moderate 20% stretch. Beginners may prefer cotton/Lycra jersey blends, while those with more experience select from jersey knits, interlock knits, piques, Panne Velour, French terry - even mid-weight sweater knits! Best of all, you don't need a serger! The Ezy T garments in these photos were all beautifully constructed with a zigzag stitch, available on any basic sewing machine.
As a bonus, you'll receive my popular Picot Edge Stitch worksheet, as shown on the red garments in the first 2 photos. This worksheet is now updated with more tips than ever before! The picot edge stitch adds a delightful mini-scallop look to finished edges, such as neckline, sleeves and hems. I'll walk you through identifying the stitch, and how to use it successfully. (Please note: Not all machines have the capability for this stitch.)
This listing is for a sewing pattern, NOT an actual garment. Photos shown are samples only. This Ezy T pattern is designed to fit the dolls listed. It should fit other dolls of similar sizes but no guarantees are made. Sample photos shown may include some design elements or details that are NOT included in the pattern. I am not affiliated with any doll company in any way.
This pattern assumes basic sewing skills, but all Ezy T garments are simple to sew. I've included lots of photos and many helpful hints and tips. If you're new to sewing with knits, you'll love the Ezy T!
