~Olde Heritage Sheep~
An original Punch Needle Embroidery design by Doreen Frost.
Finished piece measures 10 ½” Wide x 13” Tall and makes a wonderful wall hanging, either with a frame or unframed

Greetings. Tis nearing the end of August and as I write this, the wind is whipping through the muggy air, the skies are growing dark and strong storms are moving in. Tho it is still Summer, the air whispers of Autumn. Our calendar is filled with Olde Home Days, County Fairs, Harvest Festivals AND Apple Picking!!I LOVE this time of year. I especially love visiting the sheep and other animals at the fairs and festivals. Sheep have long been a favorite animal of mine and I have tried for quite some time to design a sheep pattern that I loved as much as the real thing. I struggled for quite some time, sketching many designs and setting them aside. One day, while browsing through old photographs, I came across a photo I took several years ago at our local orchard and…..there he was..my Olde Heritage Sheep design waiting to come to life! I hope you enjoy bringing him to life as much as I did. Hugs, Doreen

**OF NOTE....this is a large design. You will need a 17" hoop or rug hooking/gripper frame for this design. You could also reduce the pattern down to fit your preferred hoop size. :)
