This posting is for one blank or custom found pine board with chippy green paint. We will sell you the blank wood to make your own sign, or we will paint any National Park Service (NPS) map symbol image on the sign and add finish coats for you. The dimension is approximately 11 inches by 12 inches. This is a great size for signs--either vertical or horizontal.
The board was found in an old shed where it had been stored for years. It looks to us like southern yellow pine, but we can't be sure. If you choose to have a map symbol painted on the sign, additional coats of shellac will be added to make a strong finish.
We optionally leave our signs blank so that you can use them as you would like. You can paint them, stencil them, use Sharpie on them, carve them, wood burn them, bedazzle them, thumb tack paper to them (maybe with clever thumb tacks) or decoupage them.
Or, for $5, we will add any National Park Service (NPS) map symbol or your custom words (up to 4 lines) to the sign. If you provide instructions for the type of font, we will comply as we can with copyright-free fonts.
