Item details

Is your yarn forever rolling over the floor and tangling itself round table and chair legs? Does your yarn ball get dirty when rolling off your lap when knitting outside? Does Kitty want to chase it around the room? Put that ball of yarn into a nice smooth yarn bowl.

This is a pretty mottled blue shiny bowl with a spacy slot to accommodate even your biggest yarns, and 5 holes opposite to it to guide yarn or guard your knitting needles when not in use. And it's a lovely decoration, too.

It has been hand-thrown by me on a potter's wheel, then turned and bisque fired. I finished it with a pretty light blue cloudy glaze and fired it at 1220 degrees Celsius(2192 degrees Fahrenheit) in my pottery kiln. Due to this high temperature the bowl is very sturdy.

The diameter of the bowl is 5,5inch / 14cm.
It is 3,75inch/ 9cm high.

The photographs were taken by daylight to catch the lovely colours, but please bear in mind that a different monitor can render the colours differently.

Please ask for postage charges when ordering more than one item. I can fit two yarn bowls into a box for the shipping costs of one.

This listing is for the yarn bowl on pictures 1, 2 and 3 only.
