Finished Stitched Size: 148 w X 114 h Stitches
Number of colors of DMC embroidery floss this chart uses: 25
Number of Stitches per Inch printed on this chart/pattern: 5
Hand designed by Cross Stitch ArtWorks to be something you will enjoy stitching and love for many years to come. I designed this cross stitch pattern based on artwork I created.
This pattern uses only full and quarter cross stitches with lots of back stitching to bring out the figures and to write out the sampler's message.
Strongly suggested that you stitch the dark colors with 3 threads of the floss. The actual stitching shown would look a bit better if done in 3 threads.
You will receive a color PDF file that will include the cover picture, instructions, floss requirements, symbol chart for DMC embroidery floss, and a color chart/pattern.

~~~~~~~~~~ Information on my designs~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hand design each cross stitch pattern. I “paint” my designs. I call it “Painting” because I choose each stitches color and type, and place it in the chart. Every detail is chosen to make this cross stitch project something you will enjoy stitching and treasure for years to come.
In creating my charts, I have found that using cross stitch conversion software, to turn a photo or artwork into a cross stitch chart, doesn't create the same beautiful, crisp, clear, and perfect charts that I like to design and stitch. For me, conversion software hasn't done a very good job of figuring out what colors to use. Instead it uses confetti stitches of weird colors so that from a distance the picture may look okay, but the colors are muddy, and the edges fuzzy.
I find that taking the extra time to “paint” the cross stitch chart produces something that I'm proud of. I think you will be proud of your stitching when you finish it and see the work of art you created.
I endeavor to make stitching my designs a joy. Some of what I do is:
I go through my chart and make sure that all colors are necessary. Let's say, that I use one shade of pink on one part of the design, if I can use that same shade for a bit of detail somewhere else on the design, instead of a different but similar color, without it affecting the beauty of the finished piece, I do. This saves you from buying floss that you only need a tiny bit of, makes it easier to organize your floss and easier to stitch the design.
I also make sure that small amounts of a color spread out should be there and can't be replaced with some other color. I don't like confetti stitches and try to only use them when absolutely necessary.
When I print my charts, I have assigned a color to each symbol that mirrors the type of color the floss is. IE: If the floss is a blue color, the symbol will be blue, reddish colors are red, etc. I believe this makes the chart easier to use.
I also sort the floss into a "Shopping List" by their DMC numbers to make it easier when purchasing the floss. It lists the number of skeins or the inches of floss that you need for this design.
A second table, sorted by Color and shade has more extensive info to make organizing and using your floss organizer and stitching easier.
***NOTE:If you need a chart modified to be in Black and White or a Larger print, I can do that for a tiny extra charge. Contact me and I can set up a custom listing you can purchase.
***BONUS: When you finish stitching this project, if you are the first to send photos of it to me, I will email you a free comparable pattern of your choice from my shop!
