These old futon fabrics are the heart of mingei, utilitarian gems from a hundred years back. Handwoven of varied shades of indigo blue and other natural colors, simple stripes and plaids, they really mimic the rhythms and patterns of daily life.
This is a light to medium weight fabric woven of indigo blue and light tan strings, no doubt a natural color. t is a handwoven fabric, recycled from a futon cover and used to a delectably soft hand.

Shipping & policies
I usually send goods with regular air mail(Small Packet). Or you can choose EMS.
All overseas deliveries go via airmail from the Japanese post office.
Once the payment has come through, I will get your piece in the mail within 3 days, unless otherwise specified.
< Regular air mail (Small Packet) >
Regular air mail service usually takes 7-14 business days from Japan. Weight up to 2 Kg.
Although this service offers no tracking No. or insurance. On rare occasion, it can take longer than usual, there are losses. I cannot be responsible for losses or delays(although I definitely won't leave you hanging either...).
I only accept Paypal. Please pay within 3 days of shopping or sale will be cancelled, item will be relisted. Contact me if there is a problem with Paypal or whatnot, and I will try to work with you.
Returns & exchanges
Everything sold "as is". I will work with you to the best of my ability if there is a problem. If you feel I misrepresented the item or there is any other type of problem, contact me and we will work it out. But being in Japan, the postage is a factor and makes refunds and exchanges a bit difficult.
