Witch Bead - Lampwork Focal Beads - Witch Focal Bead - Halloween Glass Bead - Handmade Beads - Glass Beads for Jewellery Making - Focal Bead

Hocus pocus...meet Wanda, a trainee witch. She's not quite mastered riding her broomstick but she's a dab hand at potions and has a lovely cat called Mog.

Handmade in my little workshop in Northamptonshire from glass rods. Each rod is heated in a flame at 1200 degrees until molten.

I then form each bead by layering colours and shapes to model little figures. I start with her body and cape before moving on to her face, hair and hat. Then she's completed with two little shoes and her cloak brooch.

Each bead is then fired in a kiln to anneal them, once fired they are hand cleaned ready for you to use.

This listing is for an individual bead, measuring approx 3.5-4cm tall. Each witch is slightly different and will be made to order. Every effort will be made to ensure your bead is a fair representation of the image shown.

Each bead is made on a 1.6mm mandrel, giving an approximate hole of 1.8mm after bead release and cleaning is accounted for. Beads with larger holes can be made to order.

Whilst all of my glass beads are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln please avoid dropping them or knocking against tough things as afterall, they are still glass!

Custom orders are welcome, you can choose your own cloak and hair colours. Please just send me a message.
