Simplicity 8247 Safari suit, from 1977. Smooth-fitting, wide-leg trousers and culottes (aka split skirt) with front zipper and waistband. Unlined, top-stitched safari-style jacket with short or long set-in sleeves and optional belt. Plenty of pockets for the modern woman's savannah-trekking needs, but you'll have to track down your own pith helmet.
The envelope says it's suitable for broadcloth, chambray, and other linen-types of fabric, or lightweight wool or gabardine, or the ever-popular double-knit.
This original pattern is for size 12 (see the back of the envelope for sizing details). It is uncut and factory folded. The envelope is weathered and spotted but intact. It comes to you in an archival, acid-free clear envelope for protection in storage.
