Item details

The Third Street Blanket KNITTING PATTERN is easy to knit with super bulky weight yarn and big needles.

This is one of my best selling blanket knitting patterns!

Pattern includes directions for SIX sizes:
Approximate sizes after blocking...

= XXL: 54.5" wide x 60.5" long
= XL: 50" wide x 50.5" long
= Large: 41.75" wide x 50.5" long
= Medium: 38.25" wide x 38.75" long
= Small (Crib/Lap): 34.5" wide x 34" long
= Baby: 28.25" wide x 28" long

Any of the blanket sizes may be made longer by adding pattern repeats. Each pattern repeat adds about 1.25” to the length of the blanket. Pattern includes estimates for additional yardage needed to make blankets longer.

You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl confidently, read a row by row knitting pattern, bind off stitches and weave in ends.

This project is knit flat back and forth on US size 13 circular knitting needles. Long circular needles are needed to hold the large number of stitches.

Blocking of finished knitting is recommended.

This pattern is written in ENGLISH using standard U.S. knitting terms.

Row by row knitting instructions.

US Size circular 13 needles, 28 - 38" in length (or size to obtain gauge).

Super bulky weight yarn. (Knit single strand.)

XXL: 1350 - 1420 yards
XL: 1040 - 1100 yards
Large: 860 - 900 yards
Medium: 610 - 650 yards
