FAQs

We strive to label our products correctly to what you will get. We carry 2 separate kinds of carved tribal style pendants; Resin and Resin / Yak Bone or Ox Bone. The difference is the manufacturers process. Our main manufacturer of the bone and resin uses a powder of real Ox and Yak bone to mix into his resin before they go into the molds. This gives his items a real feel, or texture that is closer to all bone than simple resin copies and also carries the spirit of the animal into each piece without the more expensive process of hand carving, and the ability to have designs just not possible with traditional bone carving. To tell which you are getting read the listings description and title, we will tell you which kind each piece is.

There are only 2 types of Jade considered authentic jade. Jadeite and Nephrite jade are both made of similar but different micro crystalline structures that make them real Jade. Both types can come in many different colors but the most expensive and desirable jade type is Jadeite. Black Jade or very dark green jade is one of the many colors that can come in either jade type. White Jade is Nephrite Jade and is sought for its calming affect and is believed to protect the wearer from negative energies, it brings peace, harmony and luck.

These are the respective male & female counterparts when found together. Each symbol represents one of the two sides of life. In the West we refer to the Phoenix often as our more well known mythological Phoenix but it is actually called the Fenghuang, Pinyin, August Rooster and Chinese Phoenix. We normally have several variations of these symbols in stock in various forms of Jade and Cinnabar amulets and pendants.
