This knitting pattern gives instructions to knit this honeycomb cable hot water bottle cover, which fits a standard 2 litre hot water bottle.
The honeycomb stitch creates a texture that adds to the insulation effect and is cosy to cuddle on cold, winter nights!
Knit as three flat pieces using two-needles, this is a relaxing knit for an experienced knitter, or a great starting project for knitters who have mastered the basics and would like to practice a cable stitch. Knitted with a chunky yarn this project will knit up quickly.
This project calls for Cascade Eco Yarn (Chunky), which has the benefit of being an eco-friendly yarn.
Work to a yarn that gives a gauge of 17sts and 22 rows = 4"/10cm over stocking stitch using 6mm needles.
I loved the pattern of this Hot Water Bottle Cover but it was knitted on circular needles and I am not too experienced with them, never mind. If you have any patterns for the same item on two needles would be grateful if you could let me know. Thanks.
